Cesar Ornelas Law Thanks First Responders

The Importance of Community Outreach

Small business are often the backbone of their local communities. The opposite is also true, after all, without happy customers there’d be no business at all. At Cesar Ornales Law, we know that we don’t just depend on the local community, but they depend on businesses just like us.

We understand the value of giving back to the place we call home. While some local business might not value this sort of community engagement, we certainly do. Bringing the community closer together and showing our gratitude to first responders is important to the team at Cesar Ornales Law.

Thanking First Responders

It seems like every day we hear stories in the news reporting violent crimes around the country, often not far from home. We’ll see interviews, reporters and maybe even the offenders, but we rarely see first responders. The dispatchers, officers, firefighters, and emergency medical technicians are the people who dedicate their lives to helping the people of our city. They manage traumatic events and provide urgent medical attention that saves countless lives.

Our Community Outreach Work

Our team has taken part in a variety of projects throughout the local community. It’s our way of giving back to the community that we’ve been lucky enough to call home since our business was founded, and that we hope to call home for many years to come.

On August 10th members of our team were handing out bottles of water to the service men and women who were participating in the El Paso Memorial Run. The run was held in honor of the victims and the families of the victims of the El Paso shooting. The service men and women taking part in the run completed the one and a half miles wearing full gear.

In July, the team at Cesar Ornelas Law provided local schoolchildren with free footwear, as part of their ‘back to school shoe giveaway’. Hosted at the Boys and Girls Club of Midland, Texas, the event saw the Cesar Ornelas Law provide hundreds of local children from low income families with footwear in preparation for school.

We are proud to sponsor a local Little League team, Cotulla Astros. We also sponsor the Camino Real Rotary Club Golf Tournament 2019 earlier this year. Local sports are important to us, keeping the community active is important for our community’s future. For the second year running, we were also the proud presenting sponsors of Mothers Against Drink Driving’s Walk Like MADD event. We work closely with MADD as part of their No More Victims campaign.

These are just some of the things we do to improve life in our local community. We’re always on the lookout for other worthy causes that could do with our support, so that we can continue having such a positive impact on the people living in our area.
